It's Raining!

Today is my due date.  And it's raining.  The rain will end by noon/ early afternoon.  And there are no signs of labor.

For those who are missing the significance of that, every major life event for me and Joel (at least as a couple) has included rain - usually a lot of it.

Of course, we had our 40 week appointment today and everything looks good.  No signs of labor coming on anytime soon - not that that means anything, but still... The 10 day forecast looks great.  Saturday is the only day rain is predicted.  So, if you're holding out for rain, please don't.  :)  Who knows, maybe this baby will break our rain cycle!  I mean, something has to eventually, right?

Right now, I'm more in the mood to just post a picture and log off - so here you go!

 40 Week Stats:
-Baby is the size of a jackfruit.  (Anyone even know what that is???)
-In other words, the baby is probably between 6.2 and 9.2 lbs.  and between 18 - 22 inches
-Continuing to grow hair and nails
-I'm still isn't sleeping so well.  (Seriously, sooo looking forward to being up in the middle of the night to snuggle a newborn instead of spending most of it in the bathroom with acid reflux and more.  blech.)

I guess you all have a little more time to put in your predictions on whether this is a boy or a girl.  :)  Happy predicting!
